Here at Cold Beers and Cheeseburgers, we aim to make your visit a big hit, whether you’re celebrating a milestone, treating yourself to something tasty, or just simply have a craving. Whatever the reason for your visit, our gluten-free menu offers even more delicious options.
First, you can start out with any of our gluten-free appetizers. You can order a serving of Super Sides—fries, tots, or sweet tots—either just for yourself or for the table. Our Grilled Asparagus Spears are a great addition, grilled with garlic oil, Reggiano, and grilled Roma tomatoes.
If you’re looking for something with a little kick, check out our Hell Fire Chips or Buffalo Chicken Tot-Chos. The chips are piled high with buffalo sauce, bleu cheese crumbles, and green onions. The Tot-Chos are heartier, served with shredded buffalo chicken and additional veggies on top of the bleu cheese and green onions.
Are fries more your speed? We have some great varieties. Try our Parmesan Truffle Fries, cooked in truffle oil and sprinkled with shredded Reggiano cheese, or our Cheeseburger Fries, smothered with seasoned ground chuck, roasted pepper cheese sauce, sugar-cured bacon, and cheddar cheese.
You can also enjoy our grilled drumettes as an appetizer for the table or a meal for yourself. Don’t let the name fool you: both our Classic Buffalo and BBQ drumettes weigh in at over one and a half pounds! With both choices, you’ll receive veggies with ranch or bleu cheese dipping sauce.
At last, let’s talk cheeseburgers! For your gluten-free options, you can have your cheeseburger served protein-style on your plate with chips or add a gluten-free bun for an extra dollar. Instead of chips, you can substitute one of our side dishes for an added $2. Each burger is a half-pound of high-quality beef, and if you’re super hungry, you can make any of these burgers a pounder as well.
Our All American cheeseburger has the basics you know and love: American cheese, lettuce, tomato, and pickles. The 1000 Island burger piles on the provolone, pickles, lettuce, and thousand island dressing. Get juicy with the Jucy Lucy, a cheddar-jack-stuffed patty with lettuce, tomatoes, and pickles. The Pittsburger is a little taste of summer, with coleslaw, American cheese, and grilled tomatoes.
You’ve had a Denver omelet before: try a Denver Burger, with ham, cheddar, grilled onion, grilled bell pepper, and an egg. Showing state pride, we have the Arizona Burger, with pepper jack, tomatillo salsa, pico de gallo, and green chile. If you’ve spent the night partying, maybe it’s time for a Hangover, with jack cheese, sugar-cured bacon, caramelized onions, grilled tomatoes, and an egg. It cures what ails you.
For a big punch of flavor, check out the CB & CB, piled high with gruyere, caramelized onion, pickles, lettuce, and garlic aioli. One of our most popular items is the Bacon Bleu Burger, with bleu cheese crumbles, sugar-cured bacon, tomatoes, baby greens, avocado, caramelized onions, and chef’s mayo.
Things get spicy with the Rocky Point burger: pepper jack, guacamole, pico de gallo, jalapenos, and sour cream. Finally, check out the spices in the Steakhouse, including garlic aioli and garlic oil, herb butter, and thyme-roasted tomatoes. This one is topped with gruyere, sugar-cured bacon, baby greens, and caramelized onions as well.
Make It Personal
For any of these burgers, we’ll ask your preference for how you want it cooked. It can range from rare, with a cool red interior, all the way up to well-done (no pink). And if you’re planning on a healthier choice, we have some great options.
Simply pick your protein, which can range from an eight-ounce veggie patty, an eight-ounce turkey patty, or a six-ounce chicken breast. Patties are wrapped in hand-leafed lettuce instead of a bun and served with a side of grilled seasoned asparagus and Roma tomatoes or a side salad. We have four dressings to choose from: our house Italian, honey-lime vinaigrette, red wine vinaigrette, and oil and vinegar. Round it out with hummus and veggies for an extra $5.
Craving a sandwich instead? Again, you can choose it to be served protein-style with chips, substitute a side, or add a gluten-free bun. Our Veggie Burger, made of brown rice, black beans, and oats, meets some refreshing new ingredients in swiss cheese, a sweet soy glaze, red onions, lettuce, and tomatoes. Chow down on a Turkey Burger with baby greens, grilled tomatoes, caramelized onions, jack cheese, and garlic aioli.
Of course, the Buffalo Chicken sandwich is also a temptation, with grilled chicken, buffalo sauce, and bleu cheese crumbles. Get your cravings satisfied with the Monterey Chicken sandwich and all the bacon, Monterey jack, avocado, chef’s mayo, lettuce, and tomatoes. At last, we come to the Chicken Cordon Bleu sandwich—feel decadent with ham and swiss cheese layered on top of a grilled chicken breast, with lettuce and tomatoes on top.
Our salads may not be in our company name, but they’re no pushovers. Our Asian Chicken Salad is one of our best-reviewed items, with cilantro, carrots, tortilla strips, peanut sauce, green onions, and honey-lime vinaigrette. We also have an excellent Classic Caesar Salad with Reggiano and Caesar dressing, and a Cobb Salad with a little of everything you love: turkey, sugar-cured bacon, bleu cheese crumbles, tomatoes, avocado, carrots, and a hard-boiled egg.
So, what’s to drink? We have your back on gluten-free adult beverages too! We’re stocked with Angry Orchard draught and Rosé, cans of fruit hard cider, and all your favorite brands of vodka, rum, tequila, whiskey, and gin. Any distilled alcohol removes the protein that celiacs have difficulty with, and we have a wide variety at your fingertips. Mixers include Coke products, Sprite, Dr. Pepper, Barq’s Root Beer, Minute Maid Lemonade, ginger ale, ginger beer, and Sweet & Sour Orange Fanta.
Are you hungry yet? We certainly have something to tickle your taste buds. Come on down to one of our 14 locations across Arizona and California.
